For all its flaws, I will give it this:  Anna boasts the rare distinction of being bloody and boring at the same time.

What we’re left with is a well-made movie with brilliant performances, but it’s also an unpleasant and exhausting cinematic experience.  

Judy is a sad story of an incredible woman who gave her all to the entertainment industry, only to be steamrolled by it.

Draw a movie, drink, and screen it.  This episode, the 80s classic Three Amigos is the lucky film.

Audiences may be shocked–hopefully in a good way–by the thoughtful, meticulous drama that hides in plain sight.

A leaden script drowns a charismatic cast, while frantic, incoherent action scenes rob the movie of any real tension.  

It’s a fluffy little horror soufflé that excels at being adequate until the final act, when the whole thing collapses into a sugary mound of disappointment.
